Here are some online business tips that discuss key points on effective article submission.

Submit to the right article directories. With so many different submission sites available on the web, choosing the best ones is must. What are key features of a good article submission directory? One that has a high page rank, one that has been on the web for more than two years, and contain more than 500 articles is a good candidate.

For many small businesses, unsecured business loans are the most practical financing option since these loans do not require submission of collateral in return. If you are a small business owner in need of financing, this article discusses your possible options when searching for an unsecured business loan.

What to Expect

Because of the absence of collateral, lending companies that extend unsecured business loans offer a limited amount of financing when compared to secured business loans. Typically, the amount of loan available will not exceed $50,000, depending on the qualifications of the loan applicant.

Needless to say, a good business credit history is a crucial factor when applying for an unsecured business loan. Take note that lenders are looking for reassurance that you will be able to pay back the loan according to the terms stipulated in your contract. Since no real property is submitted as guarantee for the loan repayment, lenders would be granting your proposed loan based upon the merits of your credit history.

For this reason, businesses that have yet to establish business credit would find it a challenge to get an unsecured business loan. In addition, those who have a problem with their corporate credit rating may have a difficult time getting approved as well.

It is possible to find lending companies that offer unsecured business loans for bad credit although you can expect that the available loan amount would be limited to a smaller value and the interest rates would be much higher than standard unsecured loans.

How to Get Approved

Before submitting your unsecured business loan application, be sure to do extensive research to make sure that you are getting the best possible deal.

Watch out for predatory lenders who may take advantage of a bad credit situation. These lenders may offer quick approval despite your poor business credit but impose excessive interest rate and fees. Furthermore, see to it that you are dealing with a legitimate lending company with a clean track record of service.

Check the prerequisites that you need to submit, particularly the paperwork. When filling out your business loan application, be sure that the details you provide are correct. Never use false information to try to get approved since such a move may only cause trouble later on.

Do not submit multiple applications to different lenders at once. Keep in mind that too many inquiries on your credit can damage your credit score and send a negative impression to a potential lender. After careful consideration and making your final choice, that’s the only time you should submit an application.

Direct mail is a traditional advertising strategy that can never be overlooked. In fact, direct mail marketing can now be done both offline and online. In this article, let’s discuss direct mail marketing tactics that you can apply to ensure the success of your marketing campaigns.

Use postcards. Postcards are great tools for encouraging people to take action. Unlike a regular letter, they do not have to be opened so you can be sure that the recipient will see it. They contain short, simple messages that are quick to read and easy to understand. They can be designed to make them more attractive and eye-catching.

The cost for creating, printing and mailing one postcard is far cheaper than a business letter. No envelope is needed so that’s an additional saving. Furthermore, advertising with postcards make it easier for entrepreneurs to track the results of their campaign.

Offer a discount or a free gift. People love to receive discounts or freebies. A postcard can double as a discount coupon or a voucher to claim the free gift.

This article presents simple yet effective tips that you can do to ensure positive results from your postcard marketing campaign.

Set Your Goals

What do you want to achieve with your postcard marketing campaign? Set a clear, specific objective so you’ll know exactly what to work on. For instance, what do you want your recipients to do after receiving your postcard? Do you want them to buy your newest product, visit your shop, or purchase from your online store?

Be realistic. Set goals based on your market research. Keep in mind that postcard marketing is the best tool for generating response.

Think About Your Message

What message would you like to send out? Would you like to introduce a new product, announce a special event in your shop, or offer a promotion? Again, you want to be very specific to send your message across effectively.

In postcard advertising, the design is a very important element. An exceptional design make a postcard look more appealing and enhance the clarity of your message. The question is, how do you create an effective postcard design? Listed below are some tips for you:

Design Both Sides
Rather than simply designing the front side, some marketers design both the front and back of the postcard. This way, the message can be read right away no matter which side the card faces up when the recipient gets hold of the card.

Don’t Clutter with Words
Do not use a very small font size just to squeeze all the information you want on one postcard. If you do, it could become difficult for the reader to figure out the texts written. Be sure that you leave just enough white space on the card for easier reading.

Design for Display
Some people use their favorite postcards as wall decor or inspiration. We often see beautiful marketing postcards displayed on refrigerator doors and work stations because it bears an inspiring message or a photo. Obviously, the more people see your postcard on display, the more exposure you can get.

There is presently a high demand for unsecured business loan financing in the market. Many businesses today are still in the start-up stage and need all the help they can get, particularly when it comes to financing. Most business owners do not have properties that can be used as collateral and therefore, cannot apply for secured business loans.

It is good to know that there are lending companies that offer unsecured business loans or loans that do not require collateral. However, one major requirement to get approved is good business credit. If you have bad credit, that can be a huge hindrance in getting your unsecured business loan application approved.

Of course, lenders do need a guarantee that their customers will be able to pay back the loan. Since no collateral has been provided, the lender must base its decision on the customer’s business credit standing.

The amount of funding available for unsecured business loans is usually smaller than secured business loans. Most lenders offer a maximum of $50,000, depending in the customer’s credit. If you have a higher score, you can expect to get a higher loan value.

Applying for an Unsecured Business Loan

Before applying for an unsecured business loan, it’s important to get to know your options first. Aside from banks and commercial lenders in your area, don’t forget to check out business loans offered by credit unions as well.

Get to know the requirements of each potential lender so you can prepare them ahead of time. Although unsecured business loans do not require collateral and involve less paperwork, it’s important to have all documents properly prepared to avoid unnecessary delays on your loan approval.

It is strongly advised that you check your credit score before submitting your application. Having an impressive personal and business credit standing will surely win you a quick approval and enable you to get the best rates as well. Take the effort to request for a lower rate from a potential lender especially if you know that you have good credit.

Evaluate the terms of loan before signing up the contract. See to it that you will not be charged with excessive interest rates and that there are no hidden charges involved. If there are certain clauses that you do not understand, conduct further investigation to make sure that all loan terms are legal and fair.

In this article, let’s discuss the top ten tips on how to increase traffic for your blog effectively:

1)Use search-engine friendly URL. Some blogs automatically use your article’s title as its page URL. This is great because search engines can easily pick them up and index it to its right category. Using symbols or punctuation marks such as “?” can confuse search engines, and can be a big hindrance in getting your site indexed.

2)Ping your blog. Pinging is like notifying search engine spiders whenever you have new content in your blog. Some blogs like WordPress provides and automatic pinging service for all its bloggers.

When it comes to applying for a business loan, older businesses that are doing well in the market definitely have an advantage. Of course, for new and start-up businesses, convincing a lender to provide the financing you need can be a more challenging task.

Nonetheless, it does not mean that you do not have a chance of getting the business funding you seek. Today, let’s talk about a few things you need to know before applying for a business loan to increase your chance of approval.

Know the Prerequisites of the Business Loan

Generally, lenders will require the submission of your financial records for the past two years or if you own a new business, you will also have to submit information from the point you started business. You must also prepare proof that you are running a legitimate company by providing copies of your permits and licenses.

For new and start-up businesses, being able to present a sound business plan is crucial. Needless to say, you want to show your lender that your business has a lot of potential and will succeed. Your business plan must present a clear explanation of the type of business you are managing, your experience in that industry, the number of employees you have, your marketing projections, cash flow projections and other essential details about your business.

For established businesses, it’s important to make sure that your accounting records are accurate as the tiniest discrepancy in the details maybe enough to make the lender nervous, and thus lead to a loan denial. If you have a previously acquired business line of credit, your payment history will be evaluated. Yes, your business credit history will be a major factor when your application is reviewed.

But what if you do not have corporate credit history? If you have just started-up the business, your personal credit history as the owner of the company will be taken into account. A lender may approve or decline your business loan based on how you manage your personal accounts such as loans, mortgage, and credit card debts.

A business owner must order a copy of his/her personal credit report prior to submitting a business loan application. Thus, in case the report contains errors or inaccuracies, it can be corrected right away before a potential lender pulls out your personal credit report. The same advice is also applicable to owners of established businesses. Even if you already have corporate credit, it is wise to make sure your personal credit history is in good standing as well.

Preparation Is Vital

Yes, preparation is very important before attempting to apply for a business loan. According to financial experts, business owners must avoid major changes in the structure of their business or starting a big project a few months before applying for a loan. An unfinished project can make them think you have run thru your original budget and are seeking funds to complete it. It would make a potential lender evaluate the project from the ground up to see if there is still a way for you to profit from that venture, or if you are too heavily leveraged to make the project feasible. Keep in mind that lenders need to see that your company is stable and worthy of financing.

When searching for potential lenders, do not just concentrate on bigger banks. Be sure to check out your local banks as well since they might be more inclined to finance a new business. Do not submit different applications to multiple lending companies at once since such a move may send a negative impression to each lender. Keep in mind that each time you submit a business loan application, an inquiry will be made, and all inquiries will be reflected in your report.

Creating an impressive business plan is one of the most important steps that an aspiring business owner needs to do. This document will serve as your guide in making important decisions for your business particularly with regards to marketing and financing.

If you are a starting a business, you will need to submit a business plan to a potential lender. Nonetheless, even if you own an established business, your business plan is still a major factor in achieving your company’s goals and success.

A standard business plan will include an Executive Summary, Company Description, Product or Service Description, Market Analysis, Strategy and Implementation, Management Team and Financial Plan. Although the outline may be the same, the format and information contained with each heading will vary from one business to another. Let us discuss the basic elements in your business plan.

Executive Summary. As the name suggests, this page must contain the main highlights of the contents of your business plan. Although this should be the first page of your plan, you should create it last, after you’ve completed all the other elements.

Company Description. This is where you describe the legal entity of your business, your mission statement, plus a brief history and background of your company.

Product or Service. This is where you must define the products and services that you want to offer the market.

Market Analysis. This is where you discuss details about your target market (including the demographics) and the marketing strategies you plan to execute, based on the research you conducted.

Strategy and Implementation. Under this heading, you should discuss your plan on managing the business, and the steps you intend to do to meet your goals.

Management Team. This is where you should describe the organization or the people behind your company, especially if you have employees.

Financial Analysis. This is where you should include your financial projections, how you plan to manage your cash flow, utilize your loan, etc.

Preparing Your Business Plan

Keep in mind that your business plan should contain true and precise information about your business. It should clearly define your objectives and goals. While it is not necessary to include all the little details in your document, you must make sure that essential facts are not omitted. For more tips on how to create an efficient business plan, check out the SBA’s website.
